Shahram Entekhabi longways ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ shahramr entekhabi , London, Berlin, Tehran, Artists statement, My work is alwaysframed within an urban setting and inspired by Charles Bauderlaire’s writingson the 19th century concept of the Flaneur and diffuses the idea that the urbanspace is reserved for the practice and performance of the white, middle class,hetro-sexual male. I explore these idea via a variety of performative practicesusing digital media, architecture and drawings.

OBS! is a newspaper project comprised by artists contributions and articles by theoreticians and journalists aimed at generating reflections, counter images and other perspectives on the world we live in. The paper is free of charge and be published as a single issue in October 2006.
