me-peeping is dedicated to the the relationship between painting and video film, to drawing pen and camera and to the question of observing and beeing observed. A street painter, who normally makes portraits of tourists in the surrounding of the Berlin memorial church, drew at my behest a portrait of my video camera, with which I filmed him at the same time

"me-peeping" thematisiert das Verhältnis von Malerei und Videofilm, von Zeichenstift und Kamera und die Frage nach Beobachten und Beobachtet-Werden. Ein Strassenmaler, der normalerweise in der Nähe der Berliner Gedächtniskirche Schnellporträts von Touristen anfertigt, zeichnete auf mein Geheiß hin ein "Porträt" meiner Videokamera, mit der ich ihn gleichzeitig aufnahm.
